Clothes Drive -

Clothing Drive

The holiday season can be a difficult time for those in need, so P.U.R.E. Xperience decided to take it upon them to do something to help the community and to give back to those who truly need and appreciate it. On November 16th, 2013, we closed off a two week long process of reaching out to everyone we knew to collect new and gently used clothing, which we would donate to a homeless shelter. With the help of our supporters, friends, and family, we were able to fill a 14 foot U-Haul truck with clothing donations. P.U.R.E. finished off the drive with a closing out event at Lit UltraBar in Philadelphia, which we named Surrender your Clothes Saturday. We couldn’t think of a better way to end such a successful event. That evening was a total hit with the support we received from everyone that showed up. Throughout the night, our good friend and P.U.R.E. Xperience's own brand ambassador, DJ SRG, provided everyone at the venue with amazing music and good vibes. The next morning we took the donations and personally delivered them at a local homeless shelter in our hometown of Philadelphia. The gratitude we received and felt was incredible. We couldn't stop thinking about how amazing it felt to not only be able to give back, but also how much we were able to accomplish in such a short period of time. The support we received in those two weeks and that evening was unreal. We cannot even begin to express how thankful we are towards everyone who not only donated, but also helped us spread the word, and to all those that came out to help us celebrate what we were able achieve. This will definitely not be the last time we organize a clothing drive event. With the help from our amazing friends and our P.U.R.E. Xperience supporters, we are confident that this will be bigger and better each and every time. We here at P.U.R.E. cannot wait till we can all come together again for such an amazing cause and are able to go beyond our expectations. Continue Living the PureLyfe and support the cause while Xperiencing the movement.
